CipherMail Gateway和CipherMail Webmail Messenger都是荷兰CipherMail公司的产品。CipherMail Gateway是一款基于服务器的电子邮件加密网关产品。CipherMail Webmail Messenger是一款CipherMail加密网关的Webmail附加组件。

CipherMail Gateway（社区版、专业版和企业版）1.0.1版本至4.7.1-0版本和Webmail Messenger 1.1.1版本至3.1.1-0版本中存在安全漏洞。攻击者可通过实施中间人攻击利用该漏洞入侵CipherMail产品与外部SMTP客户端之间的通信。
